Do Chinese Medicine And Balding Go Hand In Hand?

With so many "traditional" western medicine treatments for hair loss failing to yield any real results it is no wonder that so many people are turning to "non-traditional" Eastern medicine, like ancient Chinese medicine and balding. Many herbs and treatments are being studied, and though none have been officially endorsed many people are hopeful that Chinese medicine will not only prevent hair loss but have the ability to re grow hair.

The most talked about new Chinese medicine and balding treatment is Goto Kola. It is completely natural and if you take the recommended dosage has no side effects whatsoever. Goto Kola supporters claim that by taking 2,500mg of Goto Kola twice a day you will never loose you hair...ever! They say that no matter how long you live or what your family's history is with baldness that this herb will allow you to keep all of your hair. Now, those are some pretty bold claims and they would be very easy to dismiss if studies haven't shown such interesting results. In a study conducted on rats Goto Kola actually caused all of the rats' hair to thicken. It also increases the rate of collagen synthesis. Goto Kola is affordable and comes in capsule or powder form. Many more studies are to be conducted but the so-called "magic hair loss herb" has definitely raised a few eyebrows.

Another Chinese medicine that is being studied for its uses in preventing or curing baldness is Gingsing. Gingsing has already proven to help restore energy, but now it is said that it can prevent baldness. Gingsing contains Five-Alpha reductase inhibition and is believed to fight off the effects of DHT. It is most powerful when used in its standardized form, which is readily available at most drug stores at a very low cost.

Yet another Chinese medicine said to have hair loss curing potential is Foti. No real studies have been conducted thus far but many Chinese herbalist already use the herb to prevent hair loss in its patients. They insist that it works, though they are not quite sure how or why, and hope to one day see it marketed so people can experience for themselves its wonderful hair loss prevention ability.

These so-called "Chinese medicine cures" have not been proven to be a cure, in fact, they have not officially proven to stop any hair loss at all. Disbelievers say that it is nonsense but many are more apt to try it out for themselves. The herbs have no side effects and are all natural so, if you do decide to give them a try, there is virtually no harm that can come from it.
