Scarf Tying Tips for the Bald and the Beautiful
Many events can lead to early onset hair loss, but just because you lose your hair shouldn’t stop you from enjoying life! There are many options including fashionable scarves for both men and women. While baldness isn’t so out of the ordinary in men, for women, the embarrassment may lead them to the life of a hermit. When in fact there are many scarf tying tips that with little time, effort, or expense can lead you back into the public square looking beautiful.
There are many popular scarf types, at your local retailer, that are versatile, readily available, and fun. You can use a plain bandana, generic headscarf, or other equally sized cloth piece to the same effect. Some tips for tying are as follows:
1) Doo-Rag Style: place either a headscarf-size or bandana sized cloth in the middle of the forehead. Tie ends into a knot at the back of the head on top of the area of the hairline. Proceed to tuck the scarf underneath the knot and you’re done.
2) Turban Style: place scarf at the top of the forehead, below the hairline. Cover the head with the remainder of the scarf; let the ends dangle to then tie into a loose knot at the base of the head. Tuck in the point of the scarf beneath the knot to ensure total head coverage.
3) Classic Bandana: Place the scarf near the upper portion of the head. Tie the ends underneath the vacant hairline in a bow or knot and you’re done.
4) Headband Bandana Style: If you’re not totally gone yet or just more interested in your appearance from the front, you can also wear your scarf like a headband. Before placing on the head, flip the scarf until you’ve got a scarf that looks like a headband. Place the scarf on your forehead and tie the back in a knot or a bow at the rear of the hairline.
Hair loss is often the result of a tragic event. But the end result doesn’t need to be traumatic. Even if you’re merely looking for a new “look” these scarf tying styles can hopefully lead you to a fun and confident personal image of yourself that can last for years.
